Add tracks to the RecordForAll Library

Follow these steps to add your audio files to the RecordForAll Library. When RecordForAll processes a track (in the background), it figures out where the beats are, determines the 'track's volume, and so on. Processing a track can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes.

To import files or folders into the Library

  1. Above the Library, click Add Files to the Library.

  2. Select the method you want to use to add your files.

  3. Browse to the files or folders you want to add and then click OK.

You can also drag files—anything from a single file to a folder containing many files—directly from Windows Explorer into the Library.

To have RecordForAll update the Library automatically when you add new sound files

  1. Above the Library, click Add Files to the Library.

  2. Select Automatically add files by monitoring folders.

  3. On the Options window's Library tab, select the Automatically update the library based on the following directories check box, and then click Add Directory.

  4. Browse to the folder you want to monitor and click OK.

  5. Add as many folders as you like. When you're done, click OK.
