Modifying Library entries for sound files

RecordForAll reads and calculates the applicable information (such as title, artist, album, genre, beats per minute (BPM), and year) from each sound file you import, and then stores it in the Library.

Careful! Although RecordForAll has a robust "Undo" feature, it cannot undo changes you make in the Library.

You can choose to have RecordForAll do one of three things when you delete a file from the LibraryŚremove the file from the Library, but leave it on your hard drive; remove the file from both the Library and your hard drive; or let you decide which of these options you want on a case-by-case basis.

  1. On the Tools menu, choose Options, and then click the Sound Files tab.

  2. Under When Deleting Files from the Library, click the option you want, and then click OK.
